We are a group of young people that have just arrived from Gambia and already want to go there again. We were looking for a different travel, far away from turistic zones. We wanted to integrate into their culture, meet people and know about their way of living. Once there we met Gimmy and Pablo. They became our guide and driver during the whole week. With them we were able to meet and understand the most human part of Gambia.

With Gimmy “Fix it”: NO PROBLEM!

Alie Jammeh, He was born in Bakau in 1984. Son of a humble family, he hires bicycles in front Kairaba and Senegambia hotels and he’s a guide. We met him because of his nickname, Gimmy, and we soon identified him as a simple, transparent and with a very good sense of humor person.

Pablo, born in 1980. He actually lives in Bundung. He uses his driving license to drive and hire a car to move people during his “GAMBIA EXPERIENCE!!”.
